You could try to search for download-packs which will give you a lot of maps so you don't have to download.. I might have some sites for you if you want to.

I'm not sure if the server is capable, @Zeisel, but what about this idea?

We have a downloadsection, we have a trafficflat .... we can upload what we want and interested people can download so much they want.

You mean real packs, where are one bigger zip file and the folders maps, textures, music, system from several maps is integrated, or you mean single maps with all the stuff it need for running.

But why we should do this? It doesnt matter how much good things you do for the UT szene, some of the people dont thank it, on the contrary, some misapply it for their own advantage against us. We have 1000000000 maps with different gamestyles, and many many UT files, collected from different websites on our server, ready to download, but my experience is, that the most of the time you become disappointed when you help somebody. I can tell you a lot of examples only out of the UT life.

So normally everybody is able to download the compressed map needed stuff with the redirect and after using the cachecleaner everybody should be able to play the map offline or put it on their own server.

But Bart you are right, normally its a good idea and our downloadsection allows others, for example you, to upload files, if you have the rights for that.

But at the moment i am very grumpy, angry and dissapointed about the behavior of some players on our servers.....at the moment i dont want to make gifts in that way and present such things on a golden tray....
